The European Commission announced on Tuesday an anti-dumping investigation against some of the aluminum foil imported from China.
The European Commission said that the investigation was mainly directed at the European Metal Industry Association (Eurometaux) complaints against Chinese aluminum foil.
The Chinese aluminum foil size surveyed this time is 0.007mm-0.021mm. The investigation will determine whether these aluminum foils meet dumping standards and whether they have caused harm to the EU aluminum industry.
The findings will be drawn within 15 months and reported in the EU Official Gazette.
