Hainan fire brigade full training

In an effort to significantly enhance the province's firefighting and emergency response capabilities, the Hainan Firefighting Team launched comprehensive "real-world" training in April this year. This initiative is tailored to the unique island characteristics of Hainan, ensuring that firefighters are well-prepared for various emergencies they may encounter.

The training program has shifted from traditional playgrounds to real-life environments such as key locations under jurisdiction, construction sites, and abandoned factories. These settings are used to simulate actual combat scenarios, allowing firefighters to practice under conditions that closely resemble real emergencies. The Hainan Fire Brigade has also restructured its previous drill methods, adopting more unpredictable approaches like surprise inspections, random drills, and unannounced exercises to test the readiness of their teams.

During these exercises, firefighters engage in a range of critical tasks, including reconnaissance, rescue operations, early warning systems, demolition, smoke extraction, and fire suppression. Each phase of the operation is carefully planned and executed to evaluate the team’s technical skills and tactical strategies in handling different types of disasters. This hands-on approach ensures that firefighters are not only physically fit but also mentally prepared for any situation they might face on the job.
