What are the different types of rubber mold pressing system?

Products made of rubber as a raw material and vulcanized under high temperature and high pressure are called rubber model products, large automobile tires, and the smallest lighter seals with a diameter of only a few millimeters. The material quality, dimensional accuracy, exhaust and ease of opening of the mold directly affect the quality, labor intensity and production efficiency of the rubber product. At the same time, the choice of mold material, heat treatment and other manufacturing processes and mold assembly quality, etc., directly affect the service life of the mold. Therefore, in the mold design, the shape and structure characteristics of the rubber parts should be carefully analyzed and studied. Based on this, the reasonable mold structure, reasonable material and heat treatment process should be selected and designed to meet the requirements of rubber products and molds. The use requirements, the mold is easy to open after vulcanization, can provide production efficiency and mold life, thereby improving economic efficiency.
So what are the criteria for the rubber mold pressing system? In order to accurately size the rubber product to be vulcanized, the mold designer must be familiar with the shrinkage of various rubbers with different hardness and rubber content. The different pressing principles of rubber products can be divided into three major categories: filling mold, injection mold and injection mold, as follows:
First, filling the mold
The mold for filling the mold into the mold cavity, and pressing and vulcanizing by the flat vulcanizer to obtain the rubber product is called a filling mold. The filling mold can be divided into three types.
1. Open filling mold
The open filling die is made by the contact of the upper and lower plates, and the product is pressed by external force. The upper die has no guiding, no feeding cavity, the rubber material is easy to flow away from the parting surface, and the product parts have horizontal pressing edges. The advantage of the open filling die is that the structure is simple, the cost is low, and the air is easily excluded when the product is pressed, but the rubber is easy to be lost and the amount of glue consumed is large. The mold of this structure accounts for a relatively large proportion in the mold.
2, closed filling mold
The closed filling mold has a feeding chamber, and the upper mold has a guiding. In the process of pressing the product, the rubber material is not easy to flow out, the rubber material is subjected to a large pressure, and the product has a high density and a small amount of glue consumption. However, the exhaust performance is poor, the mold requires high precision, and the manufacturing cost is also high.
The semi-closed filling die has the advantages of an open filling die and a closed filling die from the structural point of view. When the mold of this structure is pressed, the fluidity of the rubber compound is limited to a certain extent, and only a part of the glue can be discharged, the pressing pressure is larger than that of the open filling mold, and the density of the rubber product parts is relatively high.
3, semi-closed filling mold
The injection mold is a rubber product obtained by putting the rubber into the compression chamber and using the pressure transmitted by the plunger to press the rubber into the cavity through the injection gate. The rubber product of the injection molding is high in density and good in product quality, which can improve production efficiency. It is suitable for manufacturing parts with inserts, complicated shapes and difficult to install glue.
Second, the insert injection mold
The injection mold is formed by pressing the rubber heated in a plastic state into the cavity after the mold clamping by using the pressure of the special injection agent to form a vulcanized rubber product mold.
Third, the injection mold
The form of the injection mold structure should be determined according to the structure of the injected product and the type of the injection machine, and the structural form is uniformly considered. This kind of mold is suitable for the production and use of large-volume products, with high production efficiency and good product quality.
