Introduction to the analysis of spiral ties

Through the analysis of the application of the spiral ties, we propose the following:

(1) Strictly follow the original operating procedures of the equipment and must not be changed;

(2) There should be no debris with a diameter of more than 5mm in the water, so as to avoid clogging the nozzle and preventing the flexible strip from wrapping the ties and affecting the rotation;

(3) The flow rate of the water in the pipe should be greater than 0.6-1.0 m/s to ensure the normal rotation of the tie;

(4) Circulating cooling water should be regularly monitored and treated to maintain water quality. The treatment method can add an appropriate amount of bleaching powder to eliminate algae and microorganisms; adding a scale inhibitor can slow the formation of CaC03 in water;

(5) For the old condenser installation screw, the copper pipe must be cleaned before installation. The cleaning effect can be rotated freely after the strap is installed.

The advantage of applying the spiral ties is that no external power is required, and the flow of the cooling water in the pipe can be used to continuously clean the scale in the copper tube of the condenser during the operation of the steam turbine, so that the heat transfer surface is always kept free of scale and the heat transfer effect is ensured. It has achieved the effect of energy saving and consumption reduction, and at the same time protects the oxide film inside the copper tube and prolongs the service life of the equipment. The new technology of energy saving and consumption reduction can be applied not only in the thermoelectric industry, but also in various industries of tubular heat transfer equipment, such as petrochemical, food, medicine, smelting and textile.
