The China Superhard Materials Development Forum and the 2nd China Diamond Related Materials and Applications Symposium organized by Guilin Institute of Mineral Geology were successfully held on June 14, 2008 at the Guilin Shanshui Hotel in Guangxi.
The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Mr. Guo Hua at 8:30 in the morning, and the experts and representatives of the enterprises took a group photo.
Subsequently, Jia Xiaopeng presided over the special invitation report of the conference. Among them, Academician Huang Boyun of Central South University reported that "The application of new materials is applied"; Professor Lu Zhi gave a speech on "Development and Application of High-grade Diamond Tools". Aroused wide attention and enthusiasm in the field.
The conference will close in Guilin on June 16.
