After the introduction of the new standard, the relevant inspection procedures have not changed, paint importers and exporters should pay attention to changes in standards, such as after October 1st still import and export of paints that do not meet the standards, the Shenzhen Bureau will implement forced return shipments.
It is reported that the new standard imposes more stringent restrictions on the content of harmful substances in water-soluble interior wall coatings and makes the following modifications: First, it has increased the amount of water-based wall putty and imposed a limit value for harmful substances; second, it added benzene, Toluene-toluene-benzene and xylenes sum control project, which stipulates that the sum content is ≤ 300 mg/kg; third, the VOC content of waterborne wall coatings is ≤120 g/L, water-based wall surface is greatly reduced. Putty VOC content ≤ 15 g/kg.
