From the analysis of the control mechanism of the efficiency of the oil pump motor, the fundamental of improving the efficiency of the motor is to reduce the various losses of the motor. This requires extremely intensive research on the mechanism of various types of loss of the motor, and fully exploits the potential of reducing various losses. So what measures can improve motor efficiency? The following is a brief introduction by Da Lan Motor Xiaobian:

(1) Calculation and analysis of motor loss - finite element method. Based on the research of new loss analysis methods based on modern computer technology, the finite element method is widely used in this aspect. This method can easily deal with the problems caused by arbitrary structures, arbitrary boundary conditions and complex source distribution, and can also take into account the motor. Complex problems such as internal saturation and nonlinearity have unique advantages in motor design.

(2) Improvement of motor structure. Due to the many influencing factors of motor loss, it involves motor core structure, winding structure and manufacturing process. Among them, the core structure has the most influencing factors, including the stator and rotor groove fit, air gap, chute and groove slope, groove size, groove type (closed groove or semi-closed groove) and stator side structural parts. It is necessary to establish a finite element model for different motor structures. By changing the different motor structures and material performance parameters, the specific influence degree of different factors on the motor loss is analyzed, and on this basis, the optimal design scheme is sought, and finally the purpose of reducing consumption is achieved.

(3) Loss test research. The GB18613-2012 standard specifies the 112B method for efficiency testing, which focuses on the accurate measurement of input power under low power factor conditions, low uncertainty additional loss and efficiency testing techniques, and uncertainty evaluation techniques.

(4) Other measures. In the development of oil pump motor, it also involves the research of motor core material, winding type, manufacturing process and how to reduce mechanical loss. By carrying out such research, the purpose of reducing consumption can be achieved to some extent.

(5) Rotor closed groove structure. It can effectively reduce the cogging effect and reduce the additional loss. However, due to the uniformity control of the closed groove rotor, it cannot be intuitively found that the effect of this measure may be larger than expected, and may even lead to the opposite result. This requires a reasonable rotor lamination process during production and processing to ensure its lamination effect.

(6) Cast aluminum process control. For cast aluminum rotor motors, the necessary process parameters adjustment and process improvement are required to ensure that the density of aluminum in the cast aluminum rotor is sufficiently high. This is a very effective method, but not every motor manufacturer can achieve it.

(7) Rotor sawtooth control. Many motor manufacturers do not pay enough attention to the rotor sawtooth problem, but from the test data, improving the sawtooth problem of the rotor can effectively improve the efficiency of the motor.

(8) Machining of the rotor surface. Rotor surface turning has a significant impact on motor efficiency. By reducing the amount of tooling for rotor turning or even using the rotor grinding method, the efficiency of the motor can be effectively improved. However, due to the processing efficiency and other quality hazards inherent in the grinding process, the implementation effect is not very good.
