In order to improve the moisture content of pellet feed in production, many companies are thinking about ways. Recently, the author found that some enterprises have invented “flashing water supply equipment†and opened up new ideas for us. Based on the field investigation, I analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of this equipment. Discuss with your peers.
In the market, the flashing water supply equipment of each enterprise is different, but the principle is similar. The main working principle is: in the feed throwing part of the conditioner, the high lift pump is used to spray water into the mixer, and the steam is sprayed into the mixer. After the misty water is heated, it is sprayed into the conditioner and mixed with the feed. Through this equipment, the moisture of the feed in the quenching and tempering stage is improved. The water spray volume is controlled by the glass rotor flowmeter, and the moisture is guaranteed to be 15% after quenching and tempering. -17% optimal moisture range. The equipment is the same as the earlier conditioner, except that the water is added relatively evenly.
Its purpose is to control the moisture of the feed during the conditioning stage. Add steam-heated water to reduce the influence of adding water to the quenching and tempering temperature; add hot water, try to make the free water and material tightly combined, and reduce the loss of subsequent cooling water; spray hot water to make the added water evenly distributed .
Example of use effect: When a company modifies the CMP3200-8 granulator and the upper part of the double-layer conditioner to increase the “flash hydration equipment†to produce pig pellets, multiple varieties are tested:
1. Moisture after quenching and tempering: 13%-15% when no water is added, 150-250 kg water per hour, moisture 14%-15.5%;
2, finished product moisture: 10%-12% when no water is added, 150-250 kg of water per hour, moisture 11%-12.5%;
3, granulator current: 330A-350A, 150-250 kg of water per hour, current 280A-320A;
4. Particle pulverization rate: 3.6-6.2 when no water is added; 150-250 kg water, 3.4-6 per hour.
The above data can be seen that the use of "flash hydration equipment" to increase the moisture in feed production can achieve: improve the moisture of the finished product, reduce the energy consumption of production, and reduce the rate of feed pulverization.
Since this device is so amazing, why aren't there many companies currently in use?
There are several reasons for this:
1. The water added by the equipment is free water. Although the cooling stage is not completely taken out by the wind, after packing, it is easy to migrate due to changes in external temperature and humidity, especially in the north, the external environment is dry, and the feed moisture migrates outward. And gradually lost, storage is basically lost in about 7 days, resulting in packet loss.
2. The amount of water added to the equipment is large, and the conditioner can not evenly distribute the added water, which will cause the feed moisture to be locally high, and the air volume distribution in the cooling stage cannot be absolutely uniform, so that the moisture in the feed is locally high and the risk of mildew is high. increase.
3, feed production temperature and humidity, steam quality, feeding speed, raw material ratio, etc., will have a greater impact on the finished product moisture, it is not easy to control the amount of water added, so that the risk of mildew is more difficult to control.
In summary, the author believes that it is more reasonable to supplement the feed moisture in the mixing stage, and add the water treated by the liquid anti-mold agent, so that the water can be more evenly and stably distributed in the feed, preventing migration and loss of the bag to reduce the risk of mold.
