At present, there are many buildings decorated with marble and granite stone. Some marble materials are loose, and the porosity and water absorption rate are high. Especially in the case of daily walking wear, natural weathering and stone lesions, etc., the surface will be raised and exploded. Damage to the grain, etc. In the past, general engineering construction did not cure the stone, so various diseases such as yellowing and pan-alkali occurred soon after the completion of the project.

A few years ago, a company in Shanghai undertook a ground removal, repair, and renovation of a 28-story commercial building. The stone supplier who originally contracted the building had asked us to handle the ground. The situation on the spot inspection was that the floor of the building was almost entirely silver-silver, and the surface of the board was mostly basal-alkali, which was gray and gray. Touched by hand, it feels like a particulate matter.

After more than a year, the engineering department of the building learned about the company’s governance of stone diseases through advertisements and called to ask for treatment. They were shocked when they arrived at the scene. Only one year was around. The place where the efflorescence was originally turned into a large area of ​​the macula, and the serious place was brown. The surface of the board is blasted, causing pits, large elephant nails, small rice grains, and flowers everywhere.

The construction sequence at that time was: in addition to the yellow spot treatment, a polished and polished hole was repaired. Practice has proved that the order is flawed. Due to the incorrect process, some problems occurred in each construction.

1. In addition to the treatment of macula: they collected several samples of imported, domestic and self-contained syrups on the market. It was confirmed that a drug that neither damaged the stone nor the macula was removed, and then a large-area construction was carried out, and 97% of the yellow spots were removed after washing. However, there are still 3% of the results after repeated paintings. Only the owner can be asked to take a sample for laboratory analysis and prepare targeted drugs to be removed. Since the occurrence of the disease cannot be caused by one cause, it is impossible to treat the macula produced by different generation mechanisms with one agent.

2, polishing and polishing: polishing and polishing under normal circumstances should be said to be no problem. However, because the plate is corroded, the surface is loose, and during the grinding process, it is polished while the plate surface is blasted. The old holes were smoothed and new holes appeared again.

3, hole repair: hole repair is more time-consuming, need patience. We have used hot glue to repair, it is not ideal, the strength is not enough. It is easy to fall off. When the shoes pass, the dirt on the sole will stick to the glue to form black spots. It is not ideal to use the marble glue. If the glue is first grinded, the marble glue will fall softly when it generates heat during polishing: especially the small hole, if it is polished first, it will be glued. Then the glue marks can not be removed, and the glue is dull and scarred.

4, waterproof maintenance: the use of water-soluble surface protection agent, may be the operator painted more, the ventilation conditions are not good, can not dry after eight hours, the next day found that the line of the line black deepened, and some places have changed Into green. The reason for observation is that the water-soluble curing agent contains water, and if the water does not volatilize quickly in the gap, it is oxidized by air to form a new disease.

The main reason for this failure: the board has been corroded and has become loose. Therefore, the board should be reinforced. It was found that some reinforcement materials were acceptable in the company, but the results in the field were not satisfactory. The analysis found that the plate is easy to handle and dry in the company, and even if the plate is dried by local heating at the scene, when the heat source leaves, the moisture on the bottom and the sides will invade quickly, occupying the pores and making the reinforcing material. Can not infiltrate into the interior of the stone. Such a polishing reinforcement will peel off like a peeling and will not function as a reinforcement. It is impossible to dry large-area plates on site. Therefore, when selecting reinforcement materials, materials with good hydrophilicity, strong penetrability, good polishability and strong adhesion, which will not cause discoloration of the stone, must be selected.

According to the above situation, the adjusted construction sequence:

1. Using a 50-mesh coarse grinding disc, first smooth the ground and open the capillary holes on the surface of the stone;

2, ventilation and dry: depending on the ambient temperature. Ventilation conditions for at least 24 hours;

3. Apply solvent-based penetrating curing agent to block the moisture and harmful substances on the bottom surface, and dry after painting;

4. The first time the coating reinforcement material is diluted, let it penetrate into the gap. Cover the plastic film for 12 hours to prevent solvent evaporation. The second pass is slightly thicker and can repair the holes and small gaps, still covered with plastic film for 12 hours;

5, repair the hole: use a strong adhesive, polishing good glue, with good color, first make up the big hole, then make up the small hole, the feed is slightly higher than the board surface. To be completely dry;

6. Grind the plastic bottle with 100#-300 butterfly piece;

7. Use 500# one 3000# grinding;

8, polishing:

9, do crystal face or wax maintenance;

Through this sequence of construction, the plate is not blasted at all in the sanding, and is smooth as a mirror after polishing. After a period of observation, the macula is no longer produced.
