Recently, the inspectors of the Zhejiang Xiaoshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau found that a number of CNC grinding machines imported from Japan had serious safety and quality hazards. The bureau quickly issued inspection certificates and rectification notices, requiring Japanese manufacturers to rectify within a time limit. This batch of CNC grinding machines with a value of more than 1.7 million US dollars was imported from Japan. The thickness of the circumferential wall of the wheel guard was thin, the protection level of the electric cabinet was not up to standard, the installation position of the components in the electric cabinet, the grounding protection and the safety signs did not meet the requirements. Standard requirements, there are serious safety and quality risks.
The Japanese manufacturer's similar grinding machines are also sold in other places in and outside Zhejiang Province, and all of them have similar design and manufacturing defects, which may cause personal injury accidents during use.
The Xiaoshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau interviewed Japanese equipment manufacturers and reminded them to conduct defect analysis and recall rectification of all similar CNC grinding machines that have been sold to China.
At present, Zhejiang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has issued a provincial risk warning notice for this case.
