Chongqing Coal Group Yongrong Coal Machine Factory successfully developed a new type of shearer YRG3-100 shearer with large dip angle and extremely thin coal seam. It has recently passed the expert appraisal organized by Chongqing Economic Commission.
The shearer has three distinctive features: First, it is more adaptable under the harsh geological conditions of a very thin coal seam with a large dip angle (0.4 to 0.7 m thick). The second is to solve the problem that the small tooth box and hydraulic system of the shearer's traction part heat up quickly and the temperature is high, which leads to many mechanical failures. The maximum traction of the machine can reach 100 Newtons, the traction speed is 3 meters per minute, and the coal mining propulsion can be increased by 10% to 25%. Thirdly, the coal-filling box and the coal-cutting box are welded as a whole, which enhances the stability and safety of the equipment.
