Stripping pliers is one of the tools commonly used by interior electricians, electric motor repairs, and instrumentation electricians.
It consists of a knife edge, a press line port and a clamp handle. The bushing of the stripping pliers has an insulating bushing rated at 500V.
Stripping pliers are suitable for stripping plastics, rubber insulated wires, and cable cores.
The method of use is: placing the thread head to be peeled into the edge of the pliers head and pinching the two pliers handles by hand.
Then a loose, insulating skin and the core wire will be disengaged.
