Ordinary cotton gauze masks generally have a certain ability to block large-size solid particles, fibers, etc., and have fine particles (less than 10 μm) for respirable lungs, especially for very fine particles that are likely to cause large loss to the lungs ( 0.1-1um), its protection ability is very poor. According to the national standard GB2626-2006 of dust masks, a preliminary test was conducted on the dust resistance of the dust mask. It was found that the filtration efficiency of particulate matter was generally lower than 20%.

2. In the cement manufacturing industry, what kind of masks workers need to use is also appropriate. For example, the specific activity content, the dust concentration at the job site, the operating time, and the efficiency of the dust removal facility on site. Specific selection principles can be found in the National Standard: GB/T 18664-2002 "Selection, use and maintenance of respiratory protection products". However, due to the fact that China's current cement manufacturing work site generally has high dust concentration, fine particulate matter, and it is easy to absorb water and agglomerate, the first thing to consider is to increase or improve the dust removal facilities and their effects.
