Celangulin is a plant-derived insecticide with a wide spectrum of insecticides , high control efficiency and no pollution. In order to develop new ways to cure the disease, this year, the provincial government stationed the 1% celite emulsifiable concentrate to control the East Asian locust experiment in the Hekou District of Zhongyu County and the Dongkou City of Shandong Province, and achieved initial success.
The trials in Zhongmu County and Shandong Hekou District were carried out by the cage method and the regional model method. The treatments were 10 ml, 20 ml, 30 ml and 40 ml per mu, and the water was used as a control. The number of insects was counted, and the number of live insects was investigated at 24, 48, and 72 hours after the drug, and the mortality was calculated. The insecticidal effects of the two test methods were basically the same. 10%, 20ml, 30ml, 40ml of 1% celangulin emulsifiable concentrate per mu, 92%, 93%, 93.8% and 94.7% of the 24 hours after drug treatment; They were 92.7%, 93.9%, 94.27% and 95.54% respectively; the control effects at the 72nd hour after using pesticides were 92.87%, 94.4%, 94.5% and 96.2% respectively.
The results showed that: (1) The effect of celangulin on the control of East Asia migratory locust was significant. It could achieve more than 90% mortality with 10 ml of 1% celangulin emulsifiable concentrate per acre, and it was quick-acting.
(2) The effect of different dosages of celangulin on the control effect of the oriental migratory locust is not very obvious. In practical application, the effective low dose can be selected according to the density of the insect population.
(3) The contact effect of celangulin was significant. Therefore, there was no significant difference in the control effect at 24, 48, and 72 hours after drug administration.
(4) Controlling East Asian migratory locust with celangulin, which has the advantages of less dosage, good effect, low cost, quick effect, no pollution, safety to humans and animals, etc., and can be widely applied in the future prevention and control of pests and diseases. .
