Pesticide refueling

When controlling crop pests and diseases, a small amount of vegetable oil (canola oil, soybean oil, etc.) is mixed with pesticides to improve the efficacy. The method is: mixing the vegetable oil with the pesticide in a ratio of 8%.
Why do pesticides have a miracle effect? Vegetable oil can not only act as a petroleum-based surfactant, but also a good anti-volatile agent, which can evenly cover the surface of the plant and ensure a longer residual period of the pesticide. Among the synthetic pyrethroid pesticides, vegetable oil is also one of the best diluents. Use vegetable oil as an adjuvant to avoid phytotoxicity to certain sensitive crops due to the use of mineral oil. When the vegetable oil is mixed with the pesticide, it can produce good permeability, and the medicine can kill the bacteria in the tissue or penetrate into the wall of the insect body to kill the pests and pathogenic bacteria. In addition, vegetable oil mixed with pesticides has a strong spread, which can increase the coverage of plants, is not easily washed away by rain, and can maintain good efficacy after rain.
When vegetable oil is mixed with pesticides, it also has the characteristics of photolysis, which can reduce the strong drift during spraying, overcome the mineral content of water, and weaken the active ingredients of pesticides. The vegetable oil is strong and sticky, which is very suitable for low-volume spray and super Low volume spray. Experiments have shown that using vegetable oil as an adjuvant spray can save one-eighth or more of the drug.
It should be noted that vegetable oil should not be mixed too much to avoid clogging of the nozzle due to excessive foaming.
